International arbitration in Algerian matters

  Our firm is qualified and has respected experience in international arbitration, both in the role of both counsel and arbitrator, notably when one of the parties is an Algerian legal body and/or when the root of the dispute is governed by Algerian law.

In particular, we have expertise in arbitration in disputes subject to or likely to be subject to Algerian law; or in disputes where the interaction of Algerian law and international arbitration law needs to be taken into account.We have international arbitration capabilities in all practice areas of our firm. We have mainly acted in international arbitration procedures relating to infrastructure projects, construction projects, energy projects, production and/or service investments, industries, supply contracts and distribution agreement.

We advise clients at all stages of the international arbitration process. We thus assist with drafting the arbitration clause, defining an arbitration strategy, and representing the client in arbitration proceedings.We are also able to appeal to the state courts, Algerian or foreign, firstly in order to guarantee that the arbitration procedure runs smoothly, secondly to obtain measures of conservation and provisional measures, and finally at the stage of the execution of the award.
