Laws of the Gulf States

 

The laws of the Gulf States are characterized by their highly changeable nature, because notably of

 the following events:


-- Successive policies of privatisation,
-- The opening to foreign direct investment

-- Accession of the Gulf States to the World Trade Organization,
-- Increased impact of the globalization onthe economy of the Gulf States

have resulted in a revision and appropriate adaptations in all areas of the law of Saudi Arabia. These changes in the law of Saudi Arabia are still underway and will extend over several years.
